Hello!

I am a 25-year-old web developer from Øyer in Gudbrandsdalen, Norway. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Web Development from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Gjøvik. Through my studies, I gained solid experience working interdisciplinarily with interaction design, web design, and web development.

My focus as a developer is to create inclusive, creative, and well-structured digital solutions while contributing positively to a collaborative and healthy working environment. I strive to build products that deliver value both to users and to society at large.

Sustainability and sustainable development have become key areas of interest for me. During my bachelor studies, my group and I worked on multiple research papers related to sustainable web design and development, alongside writing our bachelor thesis on the same topic. These publications are available upon request.

  1. August 2023 – Present

    Frontend Developer, Norwegian Police IT Unit (PIT), Oslo

    Working as a frontend developer at the Norwegian Police IT Unit (PIT), contributing to the development of robust, user-focused, and secure digital solutions for the police.

  2. August 2020 – June 2023

    Bachelor’s Degree in Web Development, NTNU Gjøvik

    Completed a Bachelor’s degree in Web Development at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Gjøvik.

    • Strong interdisciplinary focus including interaction design, user-centred design, project management, and universal design.
    • Primary technologies included JavaScript, CSS/Sass, React, and the MERN stack.
    • Information Architecture as an elective subject.
    • Developed a solid foundation across both development and design disciplines.
  3. May 2016 – July 2023

    Seasonal Employee & Department Manager, Hunderfossen Amusement Park

    Worked as a seasonal employee from the age of 16, serving as a department manager for the final three seasons.

    • Operational experience across all attractions in the park.
    • Responsibility for managing large crowds and high-traffic environments.
    • Close collaboration with upper management.
    • Extensive experience handling stressful and safety-critical situations.
    • Strong background in customer service.
    • Annual CPR training since 2019.
  4. August 2021 – September 2022

    Junior Web Developer, Novicell Norway

    Part-time junior web developer role where I gained hands-on experience with Umbraco CMS, as well as Vue.js and Nuxt.js.

  5. November 2021

    Umbraco CMS Fundamentals Course (5 hours + exam)

    Completed the Umbraco CMS Fundamentals Course, including a final exam, and obtained certification.
